Disciple the man of God to walk in self control and keep Godly priorities so he can persevere in the race God has marked out for him.
Goals
Purity - Disciple men to walk in self control (Titus 2:1-2, 6)
Priority - Disciple men to set and keep Godly priorities (Philippians 1:9-10)
Perseverance - Disciple men to persevere in the race marked out for them (Hebrews 12:1)
Discipling includes teaching, exampling and practicing
Teach - Scripture is the foundation of sound doctrine for teaching (1 Timothy 3:16-17)
Train - Teaching must be accompanied by living/life examples (Titus 2:7)
Try - The man of God must have opportunities to put it into practice (Luke 6:47-49)
