BE A DISCIPLE

Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men  – Matthew 1:17. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayers – Acts 2:42. Jesus never asked for church attendees; instead He calls us to be disciples.  Our desire is that each person who comes to RMC would respond to the invitation of Christ and become a committed follower of Him.  What this means practically for us as a fellowship is that we continue to steadfastly follow the example of the first group of disciples in the book of Acts by passionately pursuing Christ through discipleship.

  MAKE A DISCIPLE

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Matthew 28:19. After we respond to God’s call to follow Christ, He then instructs us to make disciples of all the nations, taking what He taught and sharing it with families, friends, neighbors, co-workers and reaching all people. Each one of us is called by Jesus to be involved in the Great Commission.

  SEND A DISCIPLE

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth – Acts 1:8. Once someone is introduced to Christ and discipled,  it is our desire for them to be sent out in Jesus’ name.  We invite you to be part of what God is doing at RMC.  Be a disciple. Make a disciple. Send a disciple.
