Water Baptism

Water baptism is a command for all believers, established by Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16). It is a public declaration of your faith, symbolizing the death of your old life and your resurrection as a new creation in Christ (Romans 6:1-8, Colossians 2:12). Baptism identifies you with Jesus, the gospel, and the community of believers, and is meant for those who are born again through faith. Children may be baptized once they understand God’s Word, usually around age five, while infants can be dedicated to the Lord.

Baptisms are held several times a year, typically every 3–4 months. While baptism is a vital step of obedience and faith, it is not required for salvation, as the Bible teaches we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5). If you are ready to take this step or want to learn more about baby dedications, contact our Info Center at 719-597-1133 or info@rmcalvary.org. Check our events page for upcoming baptism weekends and make your faith public today!

Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications are a public statement by parents committing to raise their children in the Christian faith. This practice is rooted in Scripture, seen when Hannah dedicated her son to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:11) and when Joseph and Mary dedicated Jesus (Luke 2:22). Dedicating your child is a meaningful way to honor God and publicly declare your desire to guide them in His ways.

Baby Dedications are encouraged for Christian parents who want to symbolically commit their children to the Lord before the congregation. The ceremony is typically held the 2nd weekend of each month during the 6 PM Saturday service or the 9 & 11 AM Sunday services in the Sanctuary.

For questions or to schedule your child’s dedication, contact Rhonda DeRidder at 719-597-1133.

Weddings & Premarital Counseling

Weddings are one of the most blessed and exciting milestones in life! At Rocky Mountain Calvary, we help couples prepare for both their wedding day and life together through premarital counseling. You can also choose to have your wedding ceremony take place at RMC, with guidance and support from our pastors and mentor couples.
Premarital Counseling
Free premarital instruction is offered to couples wishing to be married. Our goal is to equip couples for the joys and challenges of marriage, helping them understand the biblical model for marriage, how to communicate effectively, share expectations, manage finances, and honor God in their relationship. This counseling is required for couples who will be married through RMC.

Getting Started
To begin, please reach out to Brenda Amburgey, to fill out a form. Counseling typically takes 10–12 weeks to complete, and wedding availability at RMC is subject to prior ministry events. Your wedding date is not guaranteed until premarital counseling is successfully completed.
For questions or to start planning your wedding or premarital counseling, email Brenda Amburgey at Brendaa@rmcalvary.org or Wedding_Premarital@rmcalvary.org.
