Send Disciples

Nov 2, 2026 • Pastor Eric Cartier, Pastor Cory Beery

What does it mean to be sent by God? Does being sent require crossing an ocean, or could God be calling you to serve right where you are?

In Acts 1:8, Jesus calls His followers to be witnesses in their communities and to the ends of the earth. As believers, we are called not only to follow Christ and make disciples but also to send others out in His name. Through the examples of Moses, David, and Nehemiah, we see how God places burdens and desires on our hearts to lead us into His purpose. Join us as we explore what it means to recognize God's calling, discuss the difference between sending and being sent, and consider how each of us can take part in the work God is doing.

Being a disciple. Making disciples. Sending disciples.
