Who we are

The School of Discipleship is designed to minister to those desiring a deeper relationship with God. We accomplish this by focusing on three critical areas in a believer’s life: their Head, Hands, and Heart. We develop this through class room instruction, local outreach, weekly service, and weekly mentoring.

“‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

Who is it for?

This is for you! We’re looking for ages 18 and older to become students in the School of Discipleship. If a High School student wishes to apply, then one parent must accompany (without charge) unless they want additional materials.

I want to personally invite you to be a disciple. Our first vision as a church is to be a disciple and the School of Discipleship is our focused intent to pursue such a path. Acts 2:42, says: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Jesus never asked for church attendees. Instead, He calls us to be disciples. Our desire is that each person who comes to RMC would respond to the invitation of Christ and become a committed follower of Him. What this means (practically for us) is that we continue to steadfastly follow the example of the first group of disciples in the book of Acts. So, if you are struggling with God’s direction for your life, please consider the School of Discipleship as a pathway to begin your journey of serving God daily. I look forward to seeing you there.
